Design and styling have been a constant thread throughout my life for over thirty years — from decorating my first small home to renovating my current project, a large 16th-century rectory in rural Somerset. No matter the scale, I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces that feel both beautiful and considered.

I’ve had a passion for interiors and property for over thirty years — from my very first tiny new-build home to my latest project, a rather large 16th-century rectory in rural Somerset. Whatever the size or setting, I’ve always loved creating spaces that feel thoughtful, welcoming, and full of character.

My career began in hospitality, within the hotel industry, where I developed an understanding of how thoughtfully designed spaces can shape experience and atmosphere. Over time, this evolved into staging properties for sale and working in retail, where visual merchandising became a powerful tool in influencing how people connect with a space.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve often helped others navigate their own interiors challenges — frequently working within tight budgets and finding imaginative ways to elevate a space. I’ve been told I have a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to uncover the potential in overlooked pieces or places.

Running my own antiques and homewares store further deepened my appreciation for sourcing unique, characterful items. It wasn’t long before customers began asking me to find pieces on their behalf — something I continue to take great pleasure in.

Creativity has always been part of my world, shaped by a family background rooted in making, decorating, and design. Sustainability is also central to my approach. I’m passionate about rescuing furniture from landfill, restoring it, and either rehoming it or incorporating it into my own schemes.

Over the years, through both study and hands-on experience, I’ve developed a personal style defined by layered textures, earthy tones, and a relaxed, timeless feel. I’m drawn to spaces that feel calm yet full of character — where subtle luxury sits comfortably alongside practicality.

At the heart of everything I do is a love of styling — bringing together materials, objects, and atmosphere to create spaces that feel cohesive and inviting. I’m continually inspired by the way thoughtful design can transform not just how a space looks, but how it feels to live in.
