I’m Helen, an interior stylist, designer, and consultant.

I created House of Scrase to celebrate my passion for design, share knowledge, and connect with like-minded others.

I am an advocate for sustainable design and for designing spaces more holistically.

Championing the use of handcrafted, vintage, and thrifted wares in our homes is very much part of my design ethos, as is being resourceful with what’s at hand, all in the pursuit of creating beautiful and personal interior spaces.

Through pictures and words, I celebrate the people and places that are doing just that, as well as sharing my design projects from my home in rural Somerset, UK.
